Do you need a portable ramp, but don’t have the space to store it when it’s not in use?

Are you frustrated by the bulky and space-consuming nature of most ramps?

Or do you need a ramp that’s incredibly lightweight so you can move it solo (without breaking your back)?

Well, there’s a reason we’ve been flooded with enquiries about Roll-A-Ramp — an ingenious “roll up” ramp that’s ideal for both commercial and domestic use. Roll-A-Ramp features a durable, versatile and robust design that rolls up like a yoga mat when not in use. Better yet, it’s lightweight enough to carry solo.

So, what makes Roll-A-Ramp different (or superior) to other ramps? How does it work? And where can you use it?

Let’s dive into everything you need to know about Roll-A-Ramp.

What Sets Roll-A-Ramp Apart?

Incredibly Lightweight

If this is your first time hearing about Roll-A-Ramp, it might sound too good to be true. It isn’t.

For starters, it’s made from 6061 aerospace aluminium — a material that’s renowned for its strength, impressive weight-to-capacity ratio and resistance to corrosion.

The weight varies depending on the ramp length and width, but to give you an idea, it sits around 2 - 4kg per 30cm. That’s light enough for one person to carry and set up — without the need for herculean strength.

Easy Storage

One of the common pitfalls of other ramps on the market is that niggling question… where am I supposed to store it?!

Roll-A-Ramp has a solution to this, too.

Its clever design allows it to roll up like a mat so you can store it in tight spaces — whether that’s your car boot or cupboard. When it’s not in use, you’ll forget it’s there.

Sturdy and Robust

Some might think that a lightweight, roll up design would compromise on strength. Not in this case.

Roll-A-Ramp can support an impressive 450kg. That’s equal to 4,500 blueberry muffins. Or 3,000 bananas. This makes it ideal for so many applications.

10-Year Warranty

The creators of Roll-A-Ramp are so confident in its strength and durability, they offer an unconditional 10-year warranty. That’s right, 10 years. And in case you need some more perspective, think about what you were doing 10 years ago (it’s a long time, isn’t it?).

If something goes wrong with your Roll-A-Ramp (like a piece bends or breaks) they’ll replace it for free. No other ramp company matches this warranty.

Built-In Safety Rails

When you roll out your Roll-A-Ramp, the built-in safety rails are all ready to go! This adds an extra layer of safety for wheelchairs, walking frames, electric scooters, pedestrians and more.

Customise Your Length

Roll-A-Ramp is made up of multiple separate panels which are joined together using quick-release pins. These pins can be removed or added to increase (or decrease) the length of your ramp depending on the situation. This means you can use it in multiple different applications and still get the perfect fit! What’s more, it means you could turn one long ramp into multiple ramps.

Available In Two Widths

At Ramp Champ, we stock 2 different widths to suit your needs. Roll-A-Ramp is available in widths of…

  • 720mm
  • 915mm

Non-Slip Traction

Roll-A-Ramp is cleverly designed to minimise slipping and sliding with built-in grooves for added traction. This makes it suitable for outdoor use (regardless of what the weatherman says).

A Ramp That… Rolls Up? Here’s How It Works

We know what you’re thinking, surely it can’t be as simple as just rolling out the ramp.

Well, you might be surprised.

Here’s how to use Roll-A-Ramp in 5 simple steps…

  1. Find the top end of the ramp (visible through a sticker that says “upper end”)
  2. Place the ramp on its side and walk outwards while holding the upper end — the ramp will naturally unravel
  3. Avoid the “pinch points” where the panels meet by ensuring the yellow caution covers are in place
  4. Gently place the ramp in the desired area (see our uses below — they’re endless)
  5. At the top end of the ramp, make sure there is the approach plate and one additional plate resting on the surface for maximum stability

And that’s it! Just like that, the Roll-A-Ramp is ready to be used.

Where Can You Use Roll-A-Ramp?

You can use Roll-A-Ramp almost anywhere!

Use it for…

  • Home
  • Wheelchair access
  • Commercial buildings (like schools or offices). This will also avoid the tedious process of making “structural modifications” with permanent ramps
  • Vans and vehicles (it’s a lot less costly than a lift or permanent van ramp)
  • As a bi-fold or fold-up ramp
  • Boat gangways
  • Loading trucks
  • Loading motorcycles and ATVs
  • Trailers

At Ramp Champ, we love hearing feedback on how our customers use their Roll-A-Ramp (there are always new ideas to surprise us!)
